PL Prep PTA was started in 2019 by a group of families wanting to support a little school in a way that captured the heart and soul of PL Prep at Sam Houston.

Over the years it has grown to be a continuous part of the school community as we strive to ensure every child, every family, and every teacher feels seen, heard, and included and gets the most out of their elementary school experience.

In 2025 we moved campuses and joined our elementary and middle schools (formerly Ignite MS) to create PL Prep at JW Ray.  The PTA plans to create and use programs that include all grades from Pre-K to 8th grade.
